The Newman Education Trust was founded in 2000 to support educational projects throughout the world. With a vision that supports the belief that everyone is entitled to an education and that education is for life, The Newman Education Trust supports educational projects that provide a wide range of education. Since its inception, The Newman Education Trust has supported projects throughout the world in Europe, South Africa, South America, India and Africa through a broad spectrum of projects that include training teachers, development of curriculum, capital projects, awards to students and scholarships. The Newman Education Trust adheres to the vision that education should include the development of a whole person through academic, social and spiritual studies; that education is a means to a greater purpose in allowing people to develop their potential and capability to play a role in society and the world.
